EMILY JANE TRAN
My design journey began at Texas Tech University where I majored in Fashion Design and minored in Art. I fell in love with interiors when I spent 10 years in visual design at Neiman Marcus. Getting to install iconic window displays, select and hang art on the walls and merchandise departments for some of the world's most innovative labels was as fulfilling as it sounds.
I began creating custom art for my interior design clients when we needed a piece for a specific space and something "off the shelf" wasn't going to cut it. And that flipped another creative switch that I just couldn't turn off.
I like to think beyond the obvious. Do something special and personal, maybe something daring or a little bit scary. A wise woman once said, "If you're not making anyone nervous, you're not doing anything special."
And at the end of the day, let's just have fun.
